World Peace Day in Germany

The postmark says World Peace Day. It's the postmark of the month. I'm not exactly sure what it commemorates because there is an International Day of Peace but that's September 21st. It's a nice postmark though. The stamp on the left is a Europa 2021 endangered wildlife stamp. And on the right is a stamp that shows how the Frauenkirche in Dresden appeared in 1957 and after restoration in 2015.

The World Day of Peace is an annual celebration by the Catholic Church, dedicated to universal peace, held on 1 January, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. Pope Paul VI established it in 1967, being inspired by the encyclical Pacem in Terris of Pope John XXIII and with reference to his own encyclical Populorum Progressio.
The day was first observed on 1 January 1968. And it's celebrated worldwide.

Thank you for that. I think I kept searching for "World Peace Day" and it wasn't finding "World Day of Peace".
