Pet Dogs in Taiwan

Mandarin Phonetic Symbols, Taiwan FDC

On this first-day cover from Taiwan is a recent set of 10 stamps designed to "increase children’s interest in learning and their appreciation of the beauty of Taiwan". Each stamp depicts a Mandarin phonetic symbol with an image of a highlight from an administrative region, the name of which contains the phonetic sound represented by the symbol.

Thank You George, for this FDC from Taiwan with Wild Mushroom stamps. I also appreciated the stamps used on the envelope to send it to me. I used to keep an aquarium (a few of them actually) and loaches, like the formosania lacustre on the pair of stamps on the left, were some of my favorite fish.
