HI Jeff How do you send people money in foreign countries -- so they can buy the stamps and send back to you on an envelope ? Unfortunately IPC International Reply Coupons have disappeared : ( Do you send money ? I haven't had good luck with that -- the letter is stolen and discarded often it seems...... thanks ! bruce
Most of my covers I receive come from a couple of circuit clubs I am a member of. Mostly CCCC (https://covercollectors.club/) but some from LCC (http://londoncovercircuit.blogspot.com/) as well.
I also send covers to myself if it's a remote location or to receive special postmarks. I never send money or IRCs. I always purchase stamps from ebay or foreign philatelic bureaus and I use those on envelopes that I send to the post offices in places I want to have the cover returned from.
Very helpful Jeff. I enjoy your steady flow of interesting ( and rare at times ) stamps-- a lot of fun to see. There are many very remote places that issue stamps ! thank you for getting back to me :) I enjoy painting my own stamps which are sent back to me. bruce
It has been a while since I've looked for postmarks from the Canadian Arctic. But I am thinking of acquiring covers from some Antarctic bases during the 2023/24 season.
