Carrot River, Saskatchewan

I love this postmark. Carrot River is a small town in northeastern Saskatchewan. And "Big Bert" is the world's most complete fossilized Terminonaris robusta crocodile skeleton. They lived in the area 92 million years ago, when Saskatchewan was covered by the Hudson Seaway. Bert was discovered in 1991 on the shore of the Carrot River at the edge of town.
