Concordia Station

Concordia is a French-Italian Antarctic research base, 1100km inland from Dumont d'Urville on a part of the Antarctic ice sheet known as "Dome C". The ice sheet here is over 3000m thick. The base is staffed year-round, housing around 50 in the summer.

Very interesting work Jeff.
Am most interested in your post on Canada's most northerly PO's.

Hi,
What is the international mail rate from the french station? I couldn't find a rate calculator on the la poste website.

I think it is 1.35€. It will probably change in January. I always add a bit extra in case the rate goes up before the mail is sent.
